Faizan-E-Madinah is still open (as of 5th January 2021) for all 5 daily prayers, there is a maximum capacity of 90 for the 5 daily prayers and a maximum capacity of 164 for Jummah.
We have introduced new controls, processes, and procedures to minimize the risk of cross-contamination amongst the congregation. There will be a noticeable change to how the congregation enters and exits the masjid, as well as additional safety procedures.
We ask everyone to remain patient during these trying times as we may not be able to accommodate all of you due to restraints put upon us.
Please maintain social distancing at all times while at the masjid, we ask that you follow our COVID Saftey team instructions, they are here to help and keep you safe.
We will be conducting 2 Jammats for Jummah please arrive at least 20 minutes before Jammat.
Before entering the masjid
- Ensure you arrive 20 mins before Jammat
- Ensure you line up on the markers at a 2m distance from others
- Ensure you come to Masjid with Wudu
- Bring your own Prayer Mat
- Ensure you wear your face mask (this is compulsary)
- Please register with your name and phone number if you have not already for every Jammat
When entering/inside the masjid
- Please maintain social distancing (2m at all times)
- Please following the COVID Saftey Team instructions
- Remain seated at all times, do not leave your designated spot unless instructed
- If you arrive early and there is time before Fard you may pray your Sunnah
- After Fard you may read your Sunnah, please remain seated, DO NOT PRAY YOUR NAFIL, DO NOT LEAVE
- You will be instructed to leave indivualy by the COVID Saftey Team

educational services
Educational services provided for a wide demographic include:
- Children – daily Quran and Islamic education classes for ages 6 upwards, catering for both boys and girls
- Adult courses for brothers – from beginner Quran classes to a comprehensive 6 year Alim course
- Weekly Ijtimah gatherings for both brothers (Thursday) and sisters (Wednesday)
- Sisters Tajweed Classes (Tuesday and Wednesday)
- Sisters Youth gathering (Sunday)
- 3-day I’tikaf (brothers)
- 10-day I’tikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan
The members of Faizan-e-Medina work tirelessly to promote the true teachings of Islam, to worship Allah Almighty alone and to live our lives in the best example, that of the Last Prophet of Mankind (peace be upon him).
Faizan-e-Medinah wishes to serve as a community hub and endeavors to build bridges with the wider community, promoting and strengthening cohesion.
